Process

At High Road, we’re happy when you’re happy—our collaborative process ensures the end result is as close to your dream space as possible.

1. Onsite meeting
Once we hear from you, we’ll schedule a time to meet you in your space. We’ll talk through your goals and brainstorm design options together. Then we’ll take measurements to bring back to our shop.

2. Design
Next, we create shop drawings of your project with the exact dimensions of the space, which you’ll receive along with an estimate. We revise the drawings based on your feedback as many times as it takes to get it right. Once materials and finishes are decided, we get to work building.

3. Install
We install your painted woodwork onsite. Finally, finishes are added and you get to enjoy your new space. Cue the before-and-after photo op!

FAQs

What types of projects do you do?

You name it we’ve built it: trim work, kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, offices, entertainment centers, library walls, murphy beds, fireplaces, closets, and wet bars. If it’s made out of wood, we can build it.

Do I need to hire someone else for countertops, appliances, plumbing fixtures, etc?

Beyond the woodwork itself, we pass the baton to other tradespeople to complete your project. We can refer you to our trade partners who share High Road’s high standards.

How much does a new kitchen or new bathroom cost?

As you might expect, it depends on complexity, material, and scope. We don’t aim to compete with big box stores; however, we do think we’re the best value for your money in the Puget Sound area.

How long does a typical project take?

This is highly dependent on the the scope and design; however let’s take a basic double-sink vanity as an example: After design is complete, it will take us roughly 4-6 weeks from construction to install. Kitchens take roughly 8-10 weeks after design is complete.
